Our story
Astro has been part of our family for years. And every time we needed someone to walk him, or look after him while we were away, it was stressful. Finding a person we actually trusted was never easy.
We knew there was a better way to do this, and it felt like the right time to build it.
WalknStay is also about opportunity. Young or old, big commitment or small, if you love dogs there should be a way for you to earn from it.
Why we built it
Leaving your dog with someone shouldn't feel like a gamble. Owners need someone they can get to know and rely on. Walkers deserve to set their own rates and build relationships with the people and dogs they care for.
That's why we're building a marketplace for local pet care. Owners choose who cares for their pet, and independent local providers choose their rates, availability and the bookings they take on. WalknStay brings discovery, booking and payment together, so owners and providers can arrange care in one place.
How it works
The idea is simple: compare local walkers, read their profiles and choose someone who suits your dog. Arrange a meet and greet before the first walk, then use WalknStay to manage bookings and payments. Build a relationship with someone you can book again.

Boarding in a provider's home and sitting in your home are planned to follow. Our aim is to help you find people you trust for everyday walks and, later, care while you're away.
Over time, we plan to bring a wider range of pet services together in one marketplace, so you can find care for more of your pet's needs.
