WalknStay does not offer a salary or guaranteed shifts. Bookings and earnings depend on local demand, your rates and your availability.

What do you need to become a dog walker?
To offer walks through WalknStay, you must be 18 or over, verify your email and complete Stripe identity and payout setup. Tell owners about your experience with dogs and the walks you can confidently offer.
Public liability insurance is optional but recommended. If you have it, you can declare it on your profile; WalknStay does not verify the certificate.
We also recommend a DBS check. Certificates stay with you: WalknStay does not collect them or show DBS status on profiles. Owners may ask to see your insurance and DBS certificates at a meet and greet.

Fair pay starts with setting your own rates
You set your dog walking prices and choose the work that fits. There's no monthly fee or charge to list your services. WalknStay charges a service fee on each booking to cover secure payments, verification, support and running the platform.
Your earnings are the booking amount minus the service fee, with payouts handled through Stripe Connect. When setting your rates, allow for the time spent walking, travel and your costs.
